WELCOME TO MOOSEMOMMAS - a wonderful place to spend a week long vacation in the beautiful mountains of North Idaho, enjoying great Art Workshops, eating delicious food, meeting creative Artists and experiencing this most extraordinary place.
A huge thanks goes out to all of you who came to Moosemommas this year in 2008. All the Artists were superb, sharing their skills, passions and life stories with open arms. I think the laughter could be heard for miles away. Everyone was thrilled beyond their highest expections and went away renewed, rejuvenated and refreshed. It was truly the best year ever, and I want to express my thanks and gratitude for making Moosemommas such a great success.
So, if you haven't been able to come to Moosemommas, then 2009 is your year to join us. We offer exciting Painting workshops in Oils, Watercolors, Acrylics/ Collage, Nature Journaling and Pottery Painting. You might even want to try your hand at Fiber Arts, Weaving a gorgeous Antler Basket or All About Gourds. We also have Doll Making, Quilting, Weaving, Beading and Knitting workshops available, not to mention Mountain Horse Back Riding and you won't want to miss the Grand Finale' - A 2 1/2 hr cruise with Captain Ken on our pristine Lake Pend Oreille...Don't forget to bring your binoculars!
You will need to arrive at Moosemommas by 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday your retreat starts, for a wonderful homecooked dinner and a warm welcome, then unwind in our unique cabins decorated with antiques. All Art Workshops start Monday morning after coffee and a delicious breakfast. So fill your senses with excitement and adventure for this one-of-a-kind Women's Art Retreat & Get-a-way.
